އިޢުތިރާފެއް

ޢަބްދުﷲ ފާރޫޤު ޙަސަން

1976 ގައި ލަންޑަންގައި ފެސްޓިވަލް އޮފް އިސްލާމްގެ ނަމުގައި ބައްދަލުވުމެއް ބޭއްވުނެވެ. އެ މުނާސަބަތުގައި ލަންޑަންގެ މަޝްހޫރު ނޫހެއް ކަމުގައިވާ ޓައިމްސްގެ ފަރާތުން 2 އޭޕްރިލް 1976 ގައި އެ ނޫހުގެ ޚާއްޞަ ނަންބަރެއް ޝާއިޢު ކުރިއެވެ.  މިދެންނެވި ޚާއްޞަ އަދަދުގެ މައިގަނޑު ނަމަކީ، އިސްލާމީ ދުނިޔެ (The world of Islam) އެވެ.

    ޓައިމްސްގެ މި ޚާއްޞަ އަދަދުގައި ވިލްފްރެޑް ބްލަންޓް (Wilfred Blunt) ލިޔުއްވައިފައިވާ މަޒުމޫނެއް ޝާއިޢު ކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ. އެ މަޒުމޫނުގައި އޭނާ ލިޔުއްވައިފައިވެއެވެ. އާދަޔާ ޚިލާފު ހަލުއިމިނެއްގައި އިސްލާމްދީން ފެތުރިގެން ދިޔުމަށްވުރެ ހައިރާންކުރުވަނިވި އެއްވެސް ހާދިސާއެއް، މުޅި އިންސާނީ ދިގު ތާރީޚުގައިވެސް ހިނގައިފައިވާނެކަމެއް ނޭނގެއެވެ. ލަފާކޮށްލަންވެސް އެނގޭނީ ކާކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއްދުވަސްވަރެއްގައި މައްކާގެ ވިޔަފާރިވެރިއެކެވެ. ވިޔަފާރި ޤާފިލާތަކުގެ ވެރިޔަކަށް އުޅުއްވި މެދުއުމުރުގެ ބޭކަލެކެވެ. 622މ. ގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވަޒަނުން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ބޭރުކޮށްލެވުނެވެ. މަދީނާގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަން ހޯއްދަވަން އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް މަޖުބޫރުވެވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އެފަދަ ބޭކަލަކަށް އެކަލޭގެފާނު އަވަހާރަވިތާ އެއް ޤަރުނުގެ ތެރޭގައި ތަހުޒީބީ ދުނިޔޭގެ ދެބައިކުޅަ އެއްބައިގައި ޤާއިމުވާފަދަ ދީނެއްގެ ބިންގާ އެޅުއްވޭނެކަމެވެ. އެ ދީން ހުޅަނގުފަރާތުން ފްރާންސްގެ މެދުތެރެއަށް، އިރުމަތީން ސިންދުކޯރު ހުރަސްކޮށް ޗައިނާގެ ސަރަޙަރްދާ ހަމަޔަށް ފޯރައިފާނެކަމެވެ.

    ވިލްފްރެޑް ބްލަންޓް އިތުރަށް ލިޔުއްވައިފައިވެއެވެ. ޚިޔާލު ކުރައްވަބައްލަވާށެވެ. އިސްލާމްދީނުގެ އެ ސައިލު ހިނގައިގެން ނުދިޔަނަމަ، ކަންތައްތައްވާނީ ކިހިނަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ސައިންޓިފިކް ތަރައްޤީ ހުޅަނގަށް ވާސިލުވުން ލަސްވުމުގެ އެންމެބޮޑު ސަބަބަކީ، ރޯމަން ހިސާބުއަކުރުގެ އެއްވެސް ފާޑެއް ނެތުމެވެ. މީލާދީން އަށްވަނަ ސައްތައިގައި ހިންދުސްތާނުން ބަޣްދާދަށް އައި ޢަރަބި ހިސާބުއަކުރު، ހުޅަނގު ޔޫރަޕަށް ވާސިލުވުން އަވަސްވިނަމަ، އަދި އާންމުކޮށް އެ އަކުރު އިޚްތިޔާރު ކުރެވުނުނަމަ، ވަރަށްގިނަ ސައިންޓިފިކް ތަރައްޤީތަކެއް އެތަކެއް ސަތޭކަ އަހަރުކުރިން ހާސިލު ކުރެވުނީހެވެ. އަހަރެމެން އިޓަލީގެ ދެވަނަ ހޭލައިގަތުމަށް ނިސްބަތްކުރާ ތަރައްޤީތަކެވެ.

    ވިލްފްރެޑް ބްލަންޓް (1840-1922) ގެ ހިތްޕުޅަށްވަނީ އިސްލާމީ ތަހުޒީބުގެ އަސަރު ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ފޯރާފައިއެވެ. އޭނާ ލިޔުއްވި ފޮތްތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި، [އިސްލާމްދީނުގެ މުސްތަޤްބަލު] (The future of Islam)  މި ފޮތް ހިމެނެއެވެ. މި ފޮތް އެންމެ ފުރަތަމަ ޝާއިޢުކުރެވުނީ،
1882 ގައެވެ. އޭނާ ވަނީ އިސްލާމީ އެތައް ޤައުމަކަށް ޒިޔާރަތް ކުރައްވައިފައެވެ. ތިރީގައި ނަކަލުކޮށްފައިވަނީ، އޭނާގެ އަސްލު ޢިބާރާތެވެ.



    Islam is one of the great religions of the world-numerically second only to Christianity. Iran is no more than a small corner of the vast territory, stretching from the Atlantic to the South China Sea, where the Muezzin’s voice is still to be heard, though today often recorded, calling the faithful to prayer.

    There is, perhaps, nothing more amazing in the whole long history of mankind than the extent and rapidity of the dissemination of Islam. Who could possibly have foreseen that a middle-aged one-time Meccan tradesman and caravan leader, driven in the year 622 from his birth-place to take refuge in Yathrib (Medina), was to found a religion which within a century of his death would have established itself over half the civilized world, would have struck westwards into the heart of France and eastwards crossed the Indus and penetrated to the frontiers of China.

    And supposing the tide of Islam had not been stemmed? Nothing so delayed the advance of science in the West as the clumsiness of the Roman numerals. Had the Arabic numerals, which had reached Baghdad from India towards the end of the eighth century, been soon afterwards introduced into and adopted by Western Europe as a whole, much of that scientific progress which we associate with the Renaissance in Italy might have been achieved several centuries earlier.
